About us
Our Journey
The seeds for the formation of Sri Paramakalyani College Alumni Association (SPKC Alumni Association) were sown as early as 1996 when some of the Chennai-based Alumni met in a social gathering.
What started as an informal gathering of old students in 1996, led to the formal inauguration of the SPKC Alumni Association in October 2002 with the first Annual General Body meeting on 19th October 2022 that elected the Charter President and Office bearers. The Association decided to have terms of the bearers for two years and the subscription of Life membership of Rs.200, which is currently revised to Rs.300. Besides, members can contribute Rs.10000 as Patrons which will be placed in a Fixed Deposit that enables the interest to be used for the activities of the Association.
The Association was formally registered under the Tamil Nadu Society Registration Act. 1975 and obtained registration number 25/2015.
To increase the members base, the Association conducted Regional Meets at Tenkasi on 28th Jan 2007, Tirunelveli on 16th Sept 2009 and Chennai on 2nd Dec 2012 Due to these efforts, the current members’ strengths stand at 1800 plus.
SPKC Alumni is an alumni community dedicated to intellectual and personal growth within the context of a liberal arts education and in an environment of all concern.
